Shopping for Hallway Bathroom - IKEA
Alex spent the morning installing a new circuit for the bathroom. This included a few trips in the attic and down in the crawl space. Most of the dirty work was done by lunch time and the little that's left will be completed tomorrow.

We had lunch at IKEA - broccoli cheese soup and garlic bread (not the healthiest of choices but Alex earned it) - before buying our bathroom furniture. We have decided on the Stenskar Cabinets (sink unit, drawer cabinet, mirror, and medicine cabinet) and the Hollviken sink.

Finished off our shopping spree with ice-cream from Cold Stone Creamery - what a treat.

I love our leather funiture and car upholstery. It is not any more cool in the winter or hot in the summer than any other fabric. It is a natural material, not man-made. I nap on the love seat and in the recliner occasionally, and they are very comfortable, and both of our cats think so too.

Today we removed the bathroom ceiling. Well, actually Alex did all the work while I was grocery shopping. When all the mess had been removed he started cleaning out the eaves, which in our house are very shallow, and he kept pulling out nest after nest - it was truly gross. I'm not sure if they were all bird's nests or other types as well. We've often heard critters running around the attic and even had an opossum up there at one time. Anyway, we are now open to the rafters - I hope there are no critters running around tonight.
